How does Sensodyne Rapid Relief work?
Sensodyne Rapid Relief acts rapidly to create a mineral-like seal over the surface of the dentine and within the microscopic channels. This prevents stimulus from reaching the nerve. Twice daily brushing provides long lasting protection from sensitivity.
Also cleans, freshens and helps strengthen enamel.

What is tooth sensitivity?
Tooth sensitivity occurs when the softer dentine underneath hard tooth enamel becomes exposed to reveal microscopic channels that lead to the tooth nerve. When this exposed dentine comes into contact with hot or cold, sweet, sour or even your toothbrush it can trigger the nerve causing a short sharp pain.

How is tooth sensitivity caused?
Gum recession often as a result of over-enthusiastic toothbrushing
Enamel erosion caused by fizzy, sweet and/or acidic drinks
Wearing away of enamel

2. Microscopic channels in the dentine that lead to the nerve.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Sorbitol, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Strontium Acetate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide, Aroma, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Propylparaben, Sodium Methylparaben, Limonene, Contains Sodium Fluoride 0.23% w/w (1040 ppm Fluoride)

Preparation and Usage:

Always Follow the Label Directions
For long lasting protection, brush twice daily and not more than three times, minimise swallowing and spit out.
In addition for rapid relief, first squeeze a pea-sized amount onto a clean fingertip and gently rub on to the base of the sensitive tooth for 1 minute.
Direct fingertip application to teeth should be limited to twice daily.
